VERY SHORT HISTORY OF GINO'S EAST
In 1966
two Chicago cab drivers, Sam Levine and Fred Bartoli, became
disgusted with the rush hour traffic and decided to quit
hacking around. With the help of George Laverde, they
went into the restaurant business. From the humble
beginning on Superior St., pizza history was made and Gino's
East became Chicago's most celebrated pizza. At last
count, 847 other Chicago cab drivers have also tried to open
restaurants....

to cash we accept major credit cards * One guest check per
table * No personal checks accepted * 17% gratuity applied
to parties of 6 or more * Full portion price is charge on
1/2 pizza orders * There is a minimum charge of $4.00 per
person * Ask about special arrangements for large parties *
There is a 40 person minimum to guarantee a private room*
There will be times when quality will not meet our
specifications, and an item will not be served * Gino's East
is not responsible for lost or stolen items * We could be,
but we don't want to be * Don't put your elbows on the table
* Just wait 'til your father gets home * Be certain to brush
after every meal * Don't talk with your mouth full * Don't
shine your shoes on the back of your pants leg * If you're
lost, stand still. we'll find you * Look both ways
